Well, thank the old ones in the Deep, I am officially enrolled in classes for the spring. For those of you keeping track at home, I will be taking the following.
- International Relations (or, as I like to call it, why we shouldn't bomb Canada).
- World Religions (or, as I like to call it, HAIL XENU!)
- Comp II (or, as I like to call it, what I will take before I voluntarily enroll in a literary criticism class, which sounds like more fun than it should.)
Intro to Women's Studies (or, as I like to call it, Fuck the Patriarchy! )
The Women's Studies class is a night class, which means I am going to come to hate Wednesdays. But my
sister is taking the class with me, which is the only reason I would put myself through nearly a 12-hour day on campus once a week.
In other news, I got some compliments on my perfume. I was wearing
BPAL's Rose Red. Which is officially my new favorite BPAL scent, up until the ones I bought yesterday off the secondary market come in
And that's pretty much all from the non-literary life. I'll have a book review up shortly, and I am considering the benefits to trying to go to bed before ohmygod-it's-late-thirty this morning.
Also, for whatever reason, I love listening to Josh Groban singing "Ave Maria." I know this makes me the biggest dork that ever came out of Dorkville, but it's a lovely arrangement, and I am a sucker the faux-classical thing he's got going on here.
